Medical Assistant
Certification Eligibility
Dover Business College’s program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Graduates of CAAHEP-accredited Medical Assistant programs are eligible to sit for the CMA exam. Dover is one of only seven programs in the state to have this designation. To qualify for graduation, students must participate in the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification examination.
The Certified Medical Assistant designation (CMA) is a national credential awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants, indicating that the Medical Assistant meets certain standards of competence.
